The Salty Pinecone was tastefully decorated–no kitsch. The rooms, furniture, color schemes, deck furniture, and decorative touches were all top notch. It’s a home, doubling as a beach house. The view from the upper and lower balconies was panoramic with the waterways and marsh grass islands in the foreground and an unobstructed view of the Assateague lighthouse in the background. Island Getaways was very helpful and quick to anwser our texted questions. We hope to book again next year.
