The sunrise and sunset views were absolutely gorgeous! On the first day we saw a bald eagle feeding in the marsh. A variety of birds are in your back yard. Take binoculars! I didn’t have a set and regret not going to buy a set. Overall it is a very peaceful neighborhood. Saturday night the air was filled with music from the nearby campground which was also nice. Convenient to all the things but tucked away just enough to be out of the traffic. My only qualm with the stay was maneuvering luggage on the steps between floors. I left my luggage in the den rather than trying to get it up and down a second flight of stairs. I left the case of water on the ground floor and carried up a few bottles at a time as it was needed. I had never heard of Chincoteague until recently. It’s a gorgeous area and I definitely will be back!
