We loved our stay with Island Getaways! The house was perfect for our family beach vacation. We loved the outdoor space where we grilled burgers for dinner, the beds were comfortable, the outdoor shower after the beach was fantastic for getting the sand off of us and everything else too! Having use of the onsite washer and dryer SAVED my sanity, as one of our daughters got car sick on the way there, and I was so greatful to not have to go to a laundry mat! Great selection of board games and other entertainment for the afternoon when we got some rain, my youngest loved the vintage Battleship game. The sun porch was lovely in the mornings for some quiet time. Easy to get to off the main road, and very close to a dollar general and a small grocery store for all the things we needed or forget. Assateague Beach was less than 10 minutes away and there were plenty of local restaurants to pick from when we didn’t feel like cooking!
