My husband and I absolutely loved this place! The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. We ate every meal on the porch overlooking the water, watching the boats come and go and occasional paddle board. Got some crabs and sat for hours in the porch. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Very cool to be right across from the Assateague lighthouse. We went on a sunset pony tour and It turns out that the ponies were right near the lighthouse across from us the whole time. It was very quiet and peaceful. Definitely bring hand towels and dish towels. We forgot them. I saw several other reviews that said the lighthouse light bothered them at night but we didn’t even close the curtains and it didn’t bother us at all. Check in and out was simple and quick. Lots to do in town. Great location. Did not disappoint! We always enjoy our visits to Chincoteague Island!
