This cottage is set back from the road and feels a world away despite being just a few mins from town. The space was just as described and felt a bit luxurious on little ol’ Chincoteague island. While the cottage is small, the outdoor space is amazing (screened in porch with a TV!?) and really expands the size – we never sat in the living room, only slept in the bedroom or sat outside. Two of us were able to work for part of the day and then head to the beach without feeling cramped at all. Even without a water view, it is an enormously relaxing environment, and all in all, a great 5 days. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in CI! (Side note – check out Ropewalk’s outside bar for a beautiful view, solid happy hour, and good drinks/bar food).
