Our stay at Fiddler on the Creek was fabulous. Island Getaways are great, easy to reach and communicate with and check-in was a breeze. Home is spotless, very comfortable and the location is THE best. Our view over looking the marshes vs the bay was stunning and the morning sunrises were well worth getting up early to see. We could see the lighthouse on Assateague island from the living room porch and the bridge going over to the island is very close. Beds are comfortable and we all had nights of excellent sleep. We enjoyed our dinner time both in the living room and dining room, both are comfortable for family gatherings. We’d love to return again next year during off season. While many shops and restaurants were shutting down for the season, there were still places to eat and shops to browse but the best part we enjoyed was being so close to Assateague island (what a magical place AND the wild ponies were a delight to see plus all the birds). I highly recommend a stay with Island Getaways!
