Overall, we had a fantastic stay. It was our first time in Chincoteague. We enjoyed the small town vibe. Easy walk to Main St. and to get ice cream. We went to the beach 4 times – very nice to park so close to the beach. The house was lovely and met our needs. One of the cleanest cottages we’ve ever stayed at. We enjoyed both porches very much! The kitchen is very nice, with the basics covered. Not stocked with extras like napkins, salt & pepper, foil, etc. But there are plenty of cupboards and storage spaces which is helpful. Water and Ice from the fridge was great. Hidden gem: a fun surprise was an amazing little sandwich place called Drop In Sandwich Shop. Very good food and nice picnic area to eat at.
